Early childhood education is more than ABC’s and 123’s. We are responsible for instilling empathy, kindness, curiosity: The foundations for a happy healthy human being.

Our Focus:

  • Cooking

Cooking food is a great way to integrate math, motor skills, and teamwork into the students day without feeling like a chore. As a critical life skill, it is important that we help students foster an enjoyment and understanding of health and food early in life.

  • Hygiene

Clean living is important not only for physical health but also mental health. A clean body leads to a clean mind. We help the students learn to properly use the potty, wash their hands, brush their hair and brush their teeth as part of our “Starting the Day” routine.

  • Confidence

Throughout the day we focus on fostering the students ability to trust in their own decisions. Student led learning allows them to be in charge of their environment and creates a sense of confidence in their choices. We help solidify this skill by practicing daily affirmations as part of our “Starting the Day” routine.

  • Academics

The Experience Early Learning Curriculum is an integrated curriculum system that uniquely weaves 35 research-based skills into playful games and discovery projects. The cross-disciplinary model supports a child’s on-going social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive development.

  • Motor Skills

Students are encouraged to engage in risky play. This can be jumping down from a tree stump to trying the playground ladder for the first time. Students are encouraged to listen to their body and push the boundaries of what they are capable of physically achieving.

  • Music

Music is incorporated into almost every part of our day. It is utilized as back round noise during stations, as well as a learning tool during group activities. Other times, it is used purely for fun in our instrument and dance classes.
